Welcome to the Preston Reservoir Bowls Club, one of Melbourne’s great lawn bowls clubs. If you are looking to play a high level of competitive lawn bowls, hold a corporate or family function, or just have a roll on a weekend with some mates, we are the club for you.
Club History
Preston Bowls Club is formed by four local residents who purchased land on the corner of Murray Rd & Spring Street, Preston.
First green was opened and the club entered the pennant competition
The Reservoir Bowls Club was formed. Construction of the club commenced in 1959 on the site of an old quarry at what is now Edwardes Lake Park.
The Reservoir Bowls Club green was officially opened.
The Preston Bowls Club & The Reservoir Bowls Club merge.
